The Bruceville-Eddy City Council conditionally approved the final plat and construction plans for Eagle Prairie Phase 2, subject to meeting all comments and revision requests from the contracted city engineer (MRB) and city staff.
Gil Gregory of MRB told the council that the developer had submitted a second response that "looks good to us" on numerous plan items but that MRB lacked complete information about the downstream collection/sewer system tie-in. Council members repeatedly pressed for written confirmation from MRB that the outstanding notes had been addressed before final acceptance. Councilmember McGrewer moved a conditional-approval motion requiring Eagle Prairie to meet all MRB and city final-plat and construction-plan review comments; Councilmember Wiggins seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Developer representative Adrian Donatucci of WVW Development said his team was "fine with this" and willing to make the changes MRB requested; he confirmed the Phase 2 filing includes parkland and that the developer will coordinate the lift-station design. Council and staff discussed a typical path forward—MRB provides a final comment letter when satisfied, and the developer must meet inspection, bonding and construction standards before the plat is finally accepted. Several council members emphasized a need to confirm whether any off-site sewer upgrades would be the developer's responsibility per existing agreements; staff said upgrades required by later hookups are addressed in contract documents and would generally be the developer's responsibility.
