The Village Board reviewed maintenance needs for the Village Office building and decided to defer a full painting project until 2026.
With gutter flashing installed and the back door seal replaced, the board discussed whether to paint in 2025 or defer the work until 2026. The board voted to defer the painting project and to revisit it during the budget process. Clerk Tonna Claussen reported that estimates for soffit and overhang repairs were requested from five contractors; the board will wait for additional estimates before making a repair decision.
The board also scheduled headshots at the August meeting (6:00–6:20 PM) and approved closing the Village Office July 14–17, 2025, while the clerk and treasurer attend required training.
