The Board of Commissioners of the City of Neodesha approved Resolution No. 24-19 on Aug. 14, 2024, resetting the public hearing for the structure at 315 South 7th Street to 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2024, in the Commission Room at City Hall.
Assistant to the City Administrator Chris Bauman presented the resolution and said the change was required because of a publication error after an earlier resolution. Commissioner Vail-Keller moved to approve Resolution No. 24-19; Commissioner Banzet seconded and the motion carried. The resolution notes the legal description for the property as Lots Thirteen (13) and Fourteen (14), Block Seventy (70), City of Neodesha, Wilson County, Kansas.
The resolution states that the owner, the owner’s agent, lienholders of record and occupants may appear at the Oct. 9 hearing to show cause why the structure should not be condemned and ordered repaired or demolished. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice two consecutive times and give notice in the manner provided by law. No other new action was taken at the Aug. 14 meeting on this item.
