City Clerk Amy Tucker presented photos of multiple properties the city is considering for condemnation and the council approved Resolutions 2026-20 through 2026-24 to hold hearings for 221 E 4th, 406 S Military, 124 S Sycamore, 312 W 8th, and 307 S Lincoln. Allan Adelman moved to approve the set of resolutions and Ken Collins seconded; the motion carried.
The resolutions authorize staff to set hearings to consider condemnation; the minutes show the council reviewed photos but do not record testimony from the property owners that night. These hearings will allow owners to appear before the council to present any plans or objections ahead of potential condemnation votes.
