Mulberry approves gas-discount program as city faces nearly $30,000 March gas bill

City Clerk Amy Tucker told the council that the gas bill due in March is "almost $30,000" and said traders drove prices up, leaving the city with limited control over the bill. The council agreed to consult Utility Gas Management and USDI to calculate customer pass-throughs and said it will consider options to spread payments over time if charges prove to be unusually high for customers.
