Selectboard authorizes $2M-scale wastewater funding pursuit, appoints engineer to committee

Martha Dale moved to authorize the Town Administrator or Assistant Town Administrator to apply for CDS for the full estimated cost of Phase II; the motion was seconded by Jim Fleming and passed unanimously. The board also discussed Community Development Block Grant options with state announcements expected in mid‑March.
In related business, James Ameden moved to appoint Corey Mack to the Village Wastewater Committee to fill a vacancy; the board approved the appointment unanimously. Hedman said Mack is a licensed civil engineer whose service would help the committee meet quorum and prepare a draft ordinance and fee structure for the next board meeting.
