At the Feb. 3 meeting, the Selectboard approved excess vehicle weight permits for Newport Sand & Gravel Company, Renaud Brothers, and Valley Crane Services and authorized the Town Administrator to execute the permits on behalf of the Town. The board confirmed insurance certificates had been verified for the applicants.
Separately, the board voted to increase the hourly rate for highway/transfer station employee Donald Derby to $32 per hour, effective Feb. 10, 2025. The motion was moved by Taylor Prouty and seconded by Martha Dale and recorded as passing unanimously.
