At its Nov. 25 special meeting, the Lava Hot Springs City Council handled several agenda items: the council tabled payment of invoice #5389 from Pocatello Sweeping / Iron Horse Asphalt pending budget clarification; tabled Keller's sealed-bid recommendation for a test well; authorized Keller's to pursue federal grants for the Main Street Project and authorized the mayor to sign grant agreements; and approved Ken Fagnant to administer fire department participation awards and issue payment. A planned action on city employee Christmas gifts received no action.
Mayor Vicky Lyon called the meeting to order at 5:43 p.m. and announced the next regular meeting for Dec. 12, 2024, with a December 2 deadline for submissions. The council adjourned following a unanimous motion to adjourn; recorded votes on action items repeatedly noted "all in favor."
