Laurie said the FY26–27 budget includes $30,300 for the audit and recommended scheduling final approval of year-end expenditures in early July so the town can close FY25–26 books.
The Selectboard recorded the culvert requirement as a material factor in the Highway budget shortfall and added year-end approvals to the July 7 draft agenda. The accounts payable warrant approved at the meeting included a $12,522.40 invoice from Ferguson Waterworks for culverts, which the board approved as part of AP 26-49 totaling $103,117.64.
