Fishman also reported that over 100 tons of dirt were dropped at the transfer station fill area, creating concerns that pushing it back with the backhoe will prevent staff from operating the punch‑card system; the board will explore using the town front loader to assist. Fishman said she will inquire about the status of the previously available kindling supply.
The board took no immediate action on Sunday hours and instead recorded that operational follow‑up with staff and vendor is required. The hiring motion and the operational issues will be part of the transfer station supervision and reporting during the attendant’s probationary period.
