Londonderry Selectboard hires Aileen Tulloch as town administrator

The Londonderry Selectboard voted unanimously Feb. 3 to hire Aileen Tulloch as the town’s full‑time Town Administrator at a starting salary of $65,000 a year, with full benefits, 10 vacation days and a six‑month probationary period. The motion was made by Selectboard member Martha Dale and seconded by Jim Fleming.
Tulloch, who currently lives in Putney and serves as Selectboard chair there, said she is "excited for the opportunity and eager to meet everyone in Londonderry." Selectboard Chair Tom Cavanagh said the Vermont League of Cities and Towns has a pilot program to assist with the transition and that outgoing administrator Shane O’Keefe will continue to work up to 10 hours a week through June to help with continuity.
The board set a March 24, 2025 start date in its motion and confirmed standard municipal probation and benefits terms. The meeting minutes record the hiring motion as approved unanimously. The next procedural step is the new administrator’s onboarding and coordination with town staff on ongoing projects, including Town Office renovation financing the board discussed later in the meeting.
