BOAC committee member Megan Kurz to leave for Oregon Society of CPAs role

Megan Kurz told the Board of Accountancy complaints committee on Jan. 10 that she had resigned her volunteer position, effective April 1, 2025, after accepting an officer role with the Oregon Society of CPAs.
"My name is Megan Kurz, committee member on the BOAC, and this will be my last meeting. Have resigned as a result of taking a position with the Oregon Society of CPAs, in an officer role," Kurz said. Chair Honey Moffitt and other members thanked Kurz for roughly a decade of volunteer service on the BOAC and the qualifications committee and noted the committee will miss her participation.
