Council approves warrants, payroll, routine purchases and plumbing licenses

The council approved warrants dated Jan. 9 through Feb. 7, 2025 totaling $84,025.88 and January 2025 payroll of $9,239.22 as part of the consent agenda. Jeanne Haas moved to approve and the motion carried 3-0.
Council also approved several routine purchases and licenses: a 2" transfer pump not to exceed $1,000, map framing at $790 from Frame Ups, purchase of pet license books not to exceed $200, and plumbing licenses 2025-P-01 (Shoemaker Construction) and 2025-P-02 (Cooks Plumbing). The council authorized Heck’s Moving (see separate article) to assist with relocation during the remodel.
