Council approved using Heck’s Moving at $140 per hour for moving City Hall items to and from the Community Center, authorizing up to $2,300 from the General fund to cover moving costs.
Contractor Jim Hadley told the council that earlier electrical allowances assumed full new framing; when work reached the basement additional concerns emerged. "On an average new build it would run between 18 and 20 dollars a sq ft," Hadley said. Council asked staff to obtain more detailed estimates from the plumber and electrician and to schedule a follow-up meeting to review revised plans and costs.
