Council lowers Access Capacity Charge and rezones multiple Block B lots to R-2

The council approved Ordinance No. 2024-04 to lower the Access Capacity Charge (ACC) from $36.50 per month to $24.00 per month; the motion passed 4-0 by show of hands. Councilmember Stephanie Baker moved and Councilmember David Christiansen seconded the motion to adopt the ordinance.
Council also approved Ordinance No. 2024-05 to rezone Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 in Block B from C-1 (commercial) to R-2 (residential). The rezoning motion likewise carried 4-0 by show of hands.
