Resident urges council to fund water infrastructure after 4" main break

Maintenance Operator Steven Dwight provided operational details: "We pumped 108,000 and there was 50,000 in the tower that was lost," he said. Council members discussed prior budget conversations about a tower indicator (an earlier estimate reported at about $4,500) and the value of a hydrovac to locate valves and reduce outage duration. Council approved purchase of a 2" transfer pump not to exceed $1,000 to support operations during repairs.
