Executive Director Martin Piccione told the committee the May 1 deadline is "essentially it's a transparency ask. It is not a set of handcuffs being applied to state agencies," and recommended adding language that the published plan will be updated monthly as work progresses. Members emphasized the published calendar should be a living document that will change as committees add items or legislative developments occur.
The chair confirmed the document will be presented to the board tomorrow so the board can approve or amend the timeline and staff can publish the draft plan to the Board's website.
