The Borough Manager reported that Council opted not to advertise for bids related to the towing ordinance and that a letter of support will be sent from the Borough for a PennDOT Charging & Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program application along the US Route 6 Corridor. Manager Wells asked Council to attend an Erie County Planning kickoff event for park and trail improvements on Sept. 13 and noted other calendar items.
Council did not take a separate recorded vote on the towing-advertising decision during the meeting beyond the managerial report. The letter of support was described as being prepared to support a corridor application; Council agreed to provide the support as reported by the manager.
