Deputy Samford urges residents to report concerns after recent local overdoses

"If people see something, like, say something," Deputy Samford said, explaining that the CRT handles low-level drug investigations and can assist detectives. He urged residents to report tips to the sheriff's office and noted that community information is preferable to learning of incidents after the fact.
Councilors asked how residents can contact the sheriff's office and staff confirmed that leaving a message is an option. The deputy also introduced a jail staff member who is training on patrol procedures so that the department will have additional field support in the future.
