Amity council adopts development-code changes for marijuana uses, short-term rentals and ADUs

The Amity City Council on voice vote adopted Ordinance No. 685, an amendment to the Amity Development Code that sets standards for marijuana-related land uses, short-term rentals and accessory dwelling units.

City Administrator Nathan (speaker 1) read the ordinance title to the council: "City Of Amity, ordinance number 6 85, an ordinance amending the Amity development code to adopt standards for marijuana related land uses, short term rentals, and accessory dwelling units." Council members moved and seconded adoption and the chair called the ayes; the motion passed.

Supporters said the changes consolidate previously discussed rules and follow prior work sessions and a first reading.
