Cass County approved Resolution 26-72, awarding a bid to TreeTop Enterprises Incorporated for voting pins used at polling places.
Kathy, speaking for the Clerk's Office, said the pins include styluses for tablets and that voters may take them home. She said 13 companies submitted bids, and TreeTop was chosen because it provided sample units and is based in Missouri. "These are the pins that the voters use at the polling locations ... They can take them with them if they want," Kathy said.
The motion was moved, seconded and passed unanimously (3–0). The transcript does not include a contract dollar amount in the discussion.
