Nathan Wildfire, representing the Missing Middle Housing Fund, demonstrated Urban Form — a web-based zoning tool that lets users search a parcel in Boardman and see applicable zoning rules, allowable uses and downloadable reports. "You are the 18th city in Oregon to have this technology up and running," Wildfire told the council and said the platform links to source data such as assessor records.
Wildfire said the housing committee selected Urban Form to support zoning clarity and reduce staff time spent answering basic parcel questions. He invited the public to a virtual launch on Nov. 5 at 11:00 a.m. and stressed that staff will remain the authoritative source: "We still recommend, if you are planning on doing anything on a parcel in Boardman, you get in touch with the planning department," he said. Council members thanked the housing committee and staff for their work in implementing the tool.
