Commission approves change order for Justice Center roofing repairs

Bobby, maintenance staff, described the problem area as the outer areas above the two front vestibules for the sheriff's and court areas and one area at the back. "The old roofing has been peeling up and rolled up. So water is allowed to get through there," he said. The contractor will remove affected material and apply double layers and a stony application consistent with other roofing on the complex.
The motion was moved, seconded and approved unanimously (3–0). The transcript did not include a dollar figure for the change order; staff indicated the work matches the scope used elsewhere on the complex.
