Francestown Select Board approves routine permits, funds withdrawal and authorizes tree removal

The Francestown Select Board met on July 13, 2026, and took a series of routine actions, approving the town manifest, a cemetery lot sale, a driveway permit and an event application, and authorizing a $13,980 Capital Reserve Fund withdrawal for transfer station storage containers. Chair Karen Fitzgerald called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m.
On motions made and seconded during the meeting the board approved the manifest dated 07.15.2026; the sale of cemetery lot 70A.2 to Kenneth Wright and Melinda Burri; and a driveway permit for Map 3 Lot 11-10. The board also approved the FIHS Labor Day Parade application (Mr. Pyle abstained). The minutes record that all these motions passed; where the minutes did not list individual vote tallies the outcomes are reported as "motion passed."
