Solwyn Dacrozek told the Planning Commission she assisted with forming an advisory committee and an open house to gather public feedback for a City Park master plan. She said there had not previously been a master plan for the park and that the contracted landscape architect (DLA) will factor advisory committee input into the draft.
"For this project, I helped form an advisory committee to provide feedback to... the landscape architects, the landscape architecture company that we have contracted with for this project to help us create this master plan for city park," Dacrozek said. She reported an online open house was also posted on the city’s website to collect opinions and said another open house is likely at the end of July to gather additional public feedback before the plan is forwarded to city council for adoption.
No council action occurred at this meeting; staff indicated the city manager and planning staff will incorporate the consultant’s revisions and then present the draft for future hearings.
