Nortonville approves minutes, pays bills, donates $100 for swim bus and OKs two building permits

At the June 11 meeting, the Nortonville City Council handled several routine administrative matters. The council accepted the May 14, 2025 regular meeting minutes and voted to pay the monthly bills; both motions passed 5–0. The council also approved a $100 donation to the American Legion to help cover a swim-lesson bus for summer lessons; that motion carried 5–0.
Council approved two building permits during the meeting. A permit for John Nevins at 841 Locust to add a 12-by-10-foot lean-to to his carport was approved, as was a permit for Barb Polson at 330 Oak to add a 24-by-10-foot addition to a shed. Both permits were accepted with unanimous votes.
