Clerk: SS4A grant funds suspended; CDBG park grant hearing set; multiple property‑condition items remain under review

Clerk Barbara Polson told the council that she is working on initial paperwork to receive Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant money but that SS4A funds are currently suspended. She also reported that if no changes are needed to the city's original CDBG park grant request, a public hearing will be held at the next regular council meeting on April 9, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
Polson provided updates on several properties: 528 and 530 Main have a new owner; 314 Pearl and 421 Elm had nothing new to report; 318 Locust is set to be sold at the Jefferson County property tax sale (no date specified); several other addresses (221 Elm, 520 Taggart, 421 Pine, 507 Elm, 218 N Taggart) also had no new developments recorded in the minutes.
