The Nortonville City Council handled a set of routine administrative and financial items at its Jan. 8 meeting. The council unanimously approved the Dec. 11, 2024 regular meeting minutes and voted to pay the monthly bills as presented; both motions carried 5-0.
Councilors also reviewed and accepted a written library report, heard the police report from Chief Mike Henning, and accepted the financial, treasurer and utility-billing reports. The minutes record motions to accept these reports and reconciliations with 5-0 votes where motions were called.
