The decision clears a procedural hurdle needed to proceed with planning and consultant work. Council then approved a consultant agreement with Blue Valley Consultants LLC to assist with grant administration and project planning (see separate article). Next steps identified in the meeting record include executing the grant conditions and moving forward with the consultant scope; Polson is coordinating paperwork with grant specialists on required federal forms.
