Selectboard approves Neighborhood Connections events, waives transfer fees and authorizes park use
Summary
The board approved Neighborhood Connections' use of Pingree Park on July 18 and waived the organization's transfer-station fees for that event; it also found that the Sept. 19 Living Well Health & Benefits Fair did not require an itinerant vendor permit because the property is privately owned.
The Selectboard approved Neighborhood Connections' Facilities Use Request to hold a Living Well Health & Benefits Fair in the Mountain Marketplace parking lot on Sept. 19, 2025 and authorized the Town Administrator to sign related documents. Because the event property is privately owned, the board determined an itinerant vendor permit was not required.
For Neighborhood Connections' July 18 event, the board voted unanimously to waive Transfer Station fees for the nonprofit and authorized the Chair to sign the waiver. Jim Fleming moved to waive the fees and to authorize the chair to sign; the motion passed unanimously.
