Selectboard approves Edge Hill paving, private road sign policy and access permit; culvert work underway on Winhall Hollow Road

The Londonderry Selectboard on Aug. 18, 2025 approved multiple roads and right‑of‑way actions. The board accepted a Hunter Excavating LLC proposal to pave the steep section of Edge Hill Road, with the contract estimated at $5,885.00, and authorized the Town Administrator to execute necessary hiring documents.
The board also adopted a Private Road Sign Policy under which the Town will pay for the first sign installation on a private road and residents will pay for subsequent replacements. James Ameden moved to adopt the policy and the motion passed unanimously.
Taylor Prouty reported that culvert replacement has begun on Winhall Hollow Road; the work started on short notice, will not fully close the road but may cause delays. The board approved Access Permit No. 2025‑5 (applicants Ferdinand & Monika Lamotte) to relocate a driveway for a new garage; the motion was moved by Taylor Prouty and passed unanimously.
These items were approved by unanimous vote of the three members present.
