During the roads report, staff member David told the council the town needs to purchase chemicals for mosquito control and for weeds; council agreed to order a 55-gallon drum of mosquito spray while David will determine how much weed spray is needed. Mayor Curtis S. Thomas reported he had checked on ordering Cold Patch from a supplier in Idaho Falls and said it can be used any time of year for pothole repairs.
Councilmember Waco Taylor said he would check prices for an under-deck mower, pull-behind and front-end mower attachments and investigate a scraper blade for the walking path. Councilmember Blake Ball said he would check on pavers, trimming a tree and adding gravel where the library sidewalk was replaced. The council did not vote on specific purchases at the meeting; members gave staff direction to gather prices and specifications.
