Road Crew Foreman Josh Dryden reported the town truck remains under warranty for engine repairs, the excavator was repaired, fuel delivery should be put out to bid, and a new hire (Andrew) started work pending a drug-test result. The board accepted Hunter Excavating's delivered winter sand bid, estimated at $76,500, and authorized the Town Administrator to execute documents. The board also accepted a winter salt bid from Apalachee estimated at $167,670 and approved execution authority for the Town Administrator.
Separately, the Selectboard approved access permit No.2025-25 for Farrell Home LLC to add a second driveway on Evergreen Lane and authorized the chair to sign the permit. The board noted that heavier local traffic during nearby state road closures could accelerate wear on town roads.
