Special education leaders report implementation progress on 2025–28 action plan

The department also launched a SPED instructional hub to provide 24/7 access to compliance tools and instructional resources. On staffing, the director said the district has been able to grow its own pipeline and is consistently in the 80–85% staffing fill range, improving from prior years.
Board members asked about staffing levels and the impact of changes to cooperative arrangements with nearby districts; presenters said the district remains the host for some programs and will contract specialized services as neighboring districts build capacity.
