During discussion board members asked about a projected start and completion date and whether the installation would affect parking or bus flow. District staff member Mr. Clemons said a firm timeline was not yet available: “I don't actually have a firm date for you,” he said, adding the district planned to consult with the U.S. Soccer Foundation and tentatively expected to have the work complete in time for FIFA‑related events this summer in the region. On parking, staff said the area chosen will not reduce current parking and that cameras and traffic monitoring will inform any adjustments.
The board moved, seconded, and approved accepting the grant by roll call. Staff said they would follow up with the foundation on schedule and provide updates to the board.
