Alcester authorizes sewer cleaning and televising contract with Empire Pipe Services

Council voted to approve the contract and a formal notice to proceed so that cleaning and televising of the city's sewer mains can begin once a pre-construction meeting is scheduled.
Staff said, "We received the remaining contract documents from the parent low bidder, Empire Pipe Services," and noted a target pre-construction meeting later this month with work likely to begin in early November and the contract requirement to complete within the contract year. The council moved and approved both the agreement and the notice to proceed by voice vote.
