Police Chief Eric Carlson presented an AED proposal noting the city's existing units were out of date and that a vendor stands ready to rent six AEDs with maintenance, pads, and automatic upgrades included in the service. The council approved rental of six AEDs and directed Chief Carlson and staff to solicit at least one additional bid for comparison.
Chief Carlson also presented a proposed ATV ordinance and the council scheduled a town-hall meeting for April 9, 2025 to gather community feedback before any ordinance action. The council asked that comments be provided to the chief ahead of the town hall so staff can prepare.
