During the unfinished-business segment, the council discussed options to commit American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds before the end of 2024 and to spend them by the end of 2026. On a 5-0 vote, the council approved donating $15,000 from ARPA funds to the Patterson fundraising campaign to help pay for heating and air upgrades in the gym.
Council members also discussed the pickleball lighting bill that exceeded a grant and agreed to consult Scott Averill before taking further action. The council directed Mayor Jon Brady and staff to coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor Danny Gamblin on ditch-cleaning work and replacement culverts to be completed and reseeded.
