The Hope Select Board moved into executive session on Aug. 7 “pursuant to 1 M.R.S. §405 (6)(E) for a meeting with the Town Attorney for a Consent Agreement regarding Shoreland Zone and Land Use violations at the property located at 75 Loon Lane,” a motion made by Charlie Weidman, seconded by Wayne Luce, and approved 4-0.
The board exited executive session at 6:16 p.m. by unanimous vote and resumed public proceedings. After returning to open session, board members discussed the Consent Agreement’s terms in public and voted 4-0 to amend section J, extend remediation deadlines, and authorize Town Administrator Samantha Mank to sign the amended agreement. The agreement was then revised and signed by the parties.
