The Ozawkie City Council confirmed multiple annual appointments during the May 12 meeting. Motions approved Mazi Barnes as City Clerk and Court Clerk; Jamie Klenklen as Treasurer; Tom Barnes as City Attorney; Tim Bacon as Police Chief; Mark Tenpenny as Maintenance Supervisor; David Metzger as Maintenance Operator; Jason Thompson as Grounds Caretaker; and Miranda Cohen as City Judge.
Each appointment motion was moved and seconded by council members and recorded as passing unanimously in the minutes. The appointments provide the administrative and operational staffing for the coming year.
