Superintendent Tim Thomas presented proposed committee assignments and designated posting spaces for district public notices. The committee list named chairs and board liaisons for Calendar, Creative Arts, Curriculum Adoption, Green, Policy, Professional Development, Safety, Technology, Wellness, Negotiations and ISBA legislative representation.
Trustee Laura McGeorge moved to approve the committee assignments and the designated posting spaces; Trustee Kelly Miller seconded and the motion passed unanimously. McGeorge also requested the district evaluate additional opportunities and avenues to communicate notices to the broader community. The board appointed Penny Lancaster as clerk and Laura McGeorge as treasurer earlier in the meeting.
