Board approves consent agenda, recognizes fall athletics and an arts grant

The board approved the consent agenda, which included the Oct. 13 meeting minutes (with an addition about prior comments from Representative Faye Thompson), new hires, resignations and retirements, district and ASB financial reports, and approval of the Expanding Arts in Rural Public Schools grant. Trustee Jeremy Griffin moved the consent agenda with additions; Trustee Jill Wright seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Athletic Director Kennedy presented academic and athletic achievements from the fall sports season, and a parent provided public comment about the positive impact of the MCAP program on her child. Trustee Griffin also publicly thanked IT Director Matt Cavallin for his years of service.
