Council asks attorney to draft ordinance for in‑home dog daycare and boarding

Councilmember Rob Fisher asked whether neighbors had been consulted and whether approving the request would set a precedent for other in‑home businesses. Councilmember Kevin Klenklen moved to have the attorney draft the ordinance and regulations; Laci Heller seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The ordinance draft will return to the council for formal consideration at a later meeting.
