City staff weigh volumetric water rates, say AMI dashboard timing uncertain

On customer access to usage data, staff said the electric AMI deployment may be completed for residential customers by the end of the year but the water AMI deployment is about halfway done and is complicated by first‑generation meters that are being replaced; for that reason staff declined to commit to a public dashboard timeline.
