State convention set for Nov. 21–23; association approves convention funding and tournament plans

State convention logistics and event funding were set during New Business. The association confirmed the state convention dates — November 21–23 — with registration set at $110 beginning July 1. Alissa James and John Agnew were named responsible for organizing the women’s and men’s conferences; Chapter 23 will host the hospitality room.
Members approved a motion of $35,000 to ICT Alumni to support the state convention (MSP). The meeting also approved holding the annual softball tournament in Topeka (MSP) and placed a $1,000 cap on the tournament (MSP). Reimbursements totaling $3,070.60 were approved. These motions were recorded in the minutes as passed (MSP).
