The McCall-Donnelly Joint School District Board unanimously adopted a five-year operations and capital improvement plan during its Dec. 8 meeting. Superintendent Tim Thomas asked the board to adopt the plan as presented by Director of Operations Jason Clay; Trustee Jeremy Griffin moved to adopt and Trustee Laura McGeorge seconded. The motion carried with all members in favor.
Director Jason Clay outlined that remaining bond funding will be used on the PLMS project and described planned work on the district transportation facility, fleet, and general operations over the next five years. The plan, presented as the district's Annual Capital Improvement Plan, sets priorities for maintenance and capital projects across district facilities.
Board Chair Laurie Erekson presided over the vote. The board did not record any opposition or abstentions. The plan's adoption gives staff authorization to proceed with the prioritized projects and to return with specific bid packages and timelines as needed.
