Chapter realignment approved; elections fill state and committee leadership
Summary
KOHSA approved the split of Chapter 18 into a new Chapter 25 (conditional voting status) and confirmed Chapter 24 as a voting member. Officers were elected or confirmed across the slate including State Chair Alexandra L., Vice Chair Dustin B., Treasurer Austin H., and Secretary Tracy F.; Ty was elected IT by acclamation.
The association approved Chapter 18's split and formation of Chapter 25; membership voted to make Chapter 25 a voting body contingent on attendance at two state meetings before full membership. The motion to grant Chapter 24 voting member status starting immediately was also approved.
The meeting conducted elections and announced results for state and committee positions. Alexandra L. was confirmed as State Chair; Dustin B. as State Vice Chair; Austin H. as Treasurer; Tracy F. as Secretary. Committee leadership for Housing Services East and West, Alumni East and West, Re-entry and IT were announced; Ty won the IT post by acclamation. Motions to approve reimbursements and an IT check were passed, and a motion to fine Chapters 9, 11 and 24 for missing audits also passed. The meeting adjourned at 12:27 p.m.
