The committee reviewed House Bill 1662 concerning joint custody and adopted the Senate strike-all language presented by the Chair. Senator Boyd said she had been approached by a number of individuals urging passage, and the Chair noted that the House may move the rebuttable-presumption language or the committee’s version forward.
"I've had a number of individuals...express their desire to see this bill passed," Senator Boyd said. Committee members had no further changes; the strike-all was approved by voice vote and the bill was advanced.
