Certificates of occupancy in place for four fields; district sets ribbon-cutting dates

Operations staff told the board that certificates of occupancy have been secured for all four baseball and softball fields and announced planned ribbon-cutting dates.
"We have got our certificate of occupancy for all 4 fields now," an operations representative reported, then listed ribbon-cutting dates: Blacksburg High School baseball Feb. 20 and softball Feb. 26, and Gaffney softball Feb. 27 and baseball March 5; the events were scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Trustees thanked operations staff and noted the community interest in the openings.
