The Dighton Board of Health approved several routine permits at its July 21 meeting, including stable permits for 926 Somerset Avenue and 135 Center Street, a farmers-market permit, a pool permit for Whitney Academy and a food permit for Roadside LLC. The board voted by voice to approve the permit list.
On procurement, members reviewed bag-company bids and selected Waste 0 as the lowest bidder; the board motioned, seconded and approved the Waste 0 contract. The board also approved minutes from June 3 and June 16, 2026, and set the next meeting for Aug. 19 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting adjourned by voice vote.
"Motion passes," Chair Tammy Miller stated after each voice vote approving permits and the contract; roll-call tallies were not recorded in the transcript.
